Is your design team Inhouse or outsourced?

DEC leverages an in-house design and detailing team, which comprises qualified engineers. We have all over India presence, leveraging on 800+ highly skilled personnel and a well-trained team of 90+ engineers and detailers, who overlook the overall execution and implementation of client projects.

Are PEB connections on-site bolted or welded?

All PEB connections, executed by DEC, are bolted with high-strength bolts of Gr 8.8. Bolted structures support quicker assembly of the structures, at the site and offer more durability and flexibility to the PEB. This also reduces structural stress and aids in the longevity of the structure.

What is the difference between Rigid structure, space structure & PEB building? How are PEB buildings more effective than rigid frames?

We follow the following design codes: INDIAN, IBC, AISC, AISE, and AISI. Additionally, for accurate and quicker turnaround, we have in house design team, that is highly trained in the best-in-class building software design tools, such as STAAD.Pro, MBS, RAM steel, RAM connections, TEKLA, Autocad.

Do you have an inhouse lab for quality checks?

Yes, we do have Mechanical and Non-destructive testing facilities.

What is the difference between a SSR (Standing Seam roof) & PR roof sheet? And which one is more effective?

SSR – Standing seam roof which is either factory? rolled or site rolled and it is Seamed to 360 degrees. Whereas PR – profiled roof panel is Trapezoidal with a maximum length of 11m with screws at every Purlin / Girt location. SSR is a more effective and leakproof system.
